Tricky Doors Walkthrough Level 3 - Locked Apartment (2024)

Locked Apartment is the third level in Tricky Doors, an escape room adventure game from Five-BN Games. In each chapter of Tricky doors you will find yourself lost in mysterious locations, find the clues and solve the puzzles to escape. In this third episode, you find yourself locked in an abandoned apartment. Search for clues and tools to escape.

The room is dark but you can collect a small duster (broom) from the shelf on the far right.

Then tap to view the red switch on the right wall.

Use the duster here to clean it, Collect the green chip (Chips 1 of 5)

Then tap to close the cover of the switch and tap again to turn on the lights.

Collect another chip (#2) from the light shade

Tap the broken chair on the floor to collect a chair leg.

Tap on the table to collect a bottle of sleeping pills.

Tap the pile of books on the table to collect the rope from them.

Tap to view the sofa chair on the right, collect another chip (#3)

Then tap the corner of the rug on the left to lift it and look under.

Collect another chip (#4) and a match

View the fireplace.

Use the chair leg on the ashes to move them and collect a handle and a queen (chess piece)

Now tap on the box on the sofa on the left of the room.

Add the queen to the hole to open the box.

You now have a chess puzzle.

This is the 8 queens puzzle. You must place all 8 queens on the board so that none of them can threaten any others. They cannot be diagonally or horizontally in line with any other.

Solution:

Collect the 5th chip (#5)

Now view the window.

Place the handle on the open window and then tap to close it.

The snow on the window will now melt and you can see a box.

Add the 5 chips to the box to open it and start a puzzle.

Move the chips around on the sliders to arrange them into the correct positions. The circles all have colors under the chips to match them to.

Once done you can collect a magnet.

View the magnet and add the rope to it.

Now tap to view the fish tank on the left.

Use the magnet on a rope to collect a key.

Use the key to unlock the door on the right of the room.

Go through to a kitchen.

Tap the keys hanging from the chair and then on the drawer to the left with the key hole.

Collect a knife from the open drawer.

Next open the cupboard below the sink. Look inside .

Collect the rubber gloves and tap the rubbish bin to tip it over. Remove the items and collect a fuse.

Back out and tap to view the kitchen table.

Collect the newspaper and note the placement of the 4 mugs.

Next open the fridge and then view and open the freezer compartment at the top.

Collect the frozen meat.

Back out to the living room again. Then tap to view the arm chair on the right again. Use the knife to cut open the striped cushion. Then collect the key,

View the door on the left of the room and use the key to open the outer panel.

View inside for a puzzle. Move the screw and bold heads up and down to allow you to release the 4 sliders and move them out of the way.

Fix the Fuse Box

Once they are all gone the door will open. tap inside to see a broken fuse box

Add the fuse you have to the box and then use the rubber gloves on the box to remove the broken fuse and replace it.

You can now enter the utility room.

Tap to view the washing machine.

Use the rubber cloves on the plug to unplug it. Then use the knife on the cord to cut it and collect the Plug with wire.

Next tap to open the washing machine and the clothes will fall out. Tap to view these.

Collect a screwdriver bit from the pocket. Note the clue on the colors of the letters.

Next view the large box to the right of the washing machine. Open it and collect a screwdriver (electric)

Back out and return to the kitchen.

View the microwave oven.

Add the plug with wire to the side and then tap until it is attached and plugged in.

You now need to set the dials to the correct positions.

Solution:

Get the Bait

Open the microwave and add the frozen meat. Now tap to view the keypad.

You need to tap the correct buttons in the right order. Each one has a color. You can tap them all to see which ones.

Solution:

When the lights go out open the microwave. The meat is defrosted.

Add the sleeping pills to the meat then collect the 'Bait'

Return to the utility room and give the bait to the dog, it will fall asleep.

Now collect the wood from the left of the dog and also a red kettle from the top shelf above the dog.

Tap to examine the picture on the wall as well for a clue.

Back out to the living room and view the fireplace again.

Add the news paper and wood to the hearth and then light it with the match.

You will now see the painting above clear. This is another clue.

Go back into the utility room. View the safe on the table behind the dog.

Hint: The clue for the combination has hats, horses, birds and snakes.

Collect a battery and a Valve.

Return to the kitchen.

First view the screwdriver and add to it the battery and the screwdriver bit.

Now view the ceiling vent and use the screwdriver to open it. Collect a key.

Then view under the sink again.

Tap the white panel at the back to ope it and find a puzzle.

This is a flow puzzle. To start add the valve to the top left.

You need to collect the pipe from the lop left to the right hand side. You do not need to use all the pieces.

Once done tap all of the valves to turn them on and the water will flow.

You can then use the sink above. Add the kettle to the sink and use the tap to fill it.

Next you need to tap the stove / hob to turn it on, then place the kettle on the flame. When it boils you can collect the kettle with boiling water.

Return again to the utility room.

View the small window above the washing machine.

First use the knife on the frozen ice to chip it away.

Then use the kettle on the padlock to melt the remaining ice.

Now use the key to open the padlock. Open the window.

You can now tap to escape and complete Level 3 - Locked Apartment.
