What to dip in the 4-ingredient pumpkin dip
To be honest, I could probably eat this with a spoon. Okay, I may have eaten this with a spoon it was so good. Does a spoon count as a dipping option? I vote yes.
You could also dip it with actual food. Here are a few of our favorites:
Cinnamon Graham Crackers. You could also use regular graham crackers, but we prefer the sugar and cinnamon flavor mixed with the pumpkin spice.
Oreo’s or Oreo Thins. Don’t shut this idea down too fast. This combination is delicious. I first discovered the miracle of pumpkin and Oreo cookies meeting when I had them in a shake, but then I dipped them in this, and a whole new world of possibilities came to me.
I personally prefer an Oreo Thin with this dip. That is the only time you will ever hear me say that. I am a double stuffed Oreo person, but this is pretty tasty with the Thins.
Vanilla Wafer. Really any vanilla or cinnamon based cracker would go amazing with this dip. The crunchy cracker with the creamy dip is truly a dream.
Bananas or Apples. If you are looking for a healthier alternative, bananas and apples are pretty delicious with this. We wouldn’t recommend any berries. But then again, I would probably eat broccoli if it had this dip on it.
Gingersnap Cookies: Really any holiday cookie would work with this dip. We prefer gingersnaps and their delicious holiday flavor.
If you’re into pumpkin desserts, this easy pumpkin dip recipe needs to be in your rotation. It’s such an easy recipe you can bring to any type of party, and you’ll love snacking on this sweet dip at home. The fall flavors really come together in this fluffy dip.

Try using half the Cool Whip, 4 oz of cream cheese and cheesecake pudding mix instead of vanilla... YUM!

Okay, so I never really "got" the whole pumpkin obsession that everyone goes nuts about this time of year. Nonetheless, I'm part of a MOPS group and decided to make it to bring to our meeting tomorrow. I sampled some of it (got to make sure it's edible right!?) and it is D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!! So good! And so simple to whip up. It makes A LOT! For once I'm actually hoping there are leftovers for me to have more! I'm sure it will taste even better tomorrow once the flavors really get together! :) Thanks for a great recipe!

Jessica says:
How long can this stay in the refrigerator before serving? Is a day or two okay or should I make it just before serving basically? Thank you!
-
Cyd says:
You will be fine to make this dip the day before. Place in the fridge and make sure to cover it. Either in an airtight container or with plastic wrap. :)
-
A.O. says:
This may sound silly but do you make the pudding then add the pumpkin? Or just the dry packet of pudding mix?
-
Cyd says:
Just the dry packet of pudding mix.

Kasha Kinney says:
The recipe and the video are doing two completely different things. So which is the correct way to make it? I plan to try it for Thanksgiving this year.
-
Momma Cyd says:
That is because they are 2 different recipes. The blog post has pudding mix and the one in the video has yogurt. So you can decide which one you like and make that one!
